Andy Sloan
Lead Pastor
Pastor Andy is originally from Jacksonville, Fl. He felt the call to ministry in 2002 and in 2004 began attending Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been a Senior Pastor since 2009. He was called to serve as Pastor at Calvary in January 2019. Pastor Andy has been married to his wife Jenny since 1994. They have three children, Ben, Abi and Allie. He enjoys sports (especially the Florida Gators), spending time with his family, and preaching God's word.
His life verse is Colossians 3:17- "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."
Sarah taylor
Children's Ministry Director
Sarah has been a resident of Roanoke Rapids all her life. She was called to be the Children's Ministry Director at Calvary in 2017. She has been married to her husband Joel since 2007 and they have two sons, Dillon and Rylan. She enjoys reading, dancing and spending time with her family. She has a passion and gift for working with children and loves telling them about Jesus. One of her favorite verses is: "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13
