The heavens declare the

glory of God

and the sky above proclaims

his handiwork.

Psalm 19:1

The purpose of Calvary Baptist Church is to Glorify God through Christ-exalting worship as we Grow together as the body of Christ while equipping believers to Go with the gospel to all nations.
Calvary seeks to glorify God by laboring together so that all of God's people may grow in biblical community. We accomplish this goal through Small Groups every Sunday morning, elevating God’s word in corporate worship, and by serving the body of Christ through community projects.
“Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all His energy that He powerfully works within me.”
- Colossians 1:28-29
At Calvary, we are a great commission church. Because of the command that Jesus gives in Matthew 28:18-20, we work to make the gospel known to all people of every tribe, tongue and nation. From equipping students to share the gospel, to disaster relief trips, and partnering with the IMB and NAMB, we strive to make Christ known to all nations in everything we do.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations...,”  - Matthew 28:19a

July  19, 2020

Girls Night Out is a free, community worship night for the young women of the Roanoke Valley. There will be worship, teaching, and so much more!

Because the theme of this year's Girl's Night Out is "Made New" a group of women have come together to create a video series leading up to the night of Girl's Night Out. This series will be released every Wednesday and Friday leading up to July 19, as women read letters to their younger selves, as a testament to how Jesus has made them new. To keep up with the series, subscribe to this channel and to find out how God can take you and turn your story into one of joy like these, be sure to sign up for Girl's Night Out.
